Accessibility Statement
GoldTrack is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities.
Last Updated: January 11, 2026
Our Commitment
GoldTrack is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and strive to adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We have chosen Level AA as our target because it addresses the biggest and most common barriers for disabled users.
Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following accessibility features on our website:
Navigation
- Skip to Main Content: A skip link is available at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the main content.
- Semantic Landmarks: We use proper HTML5 landmark elements (main, nav, header, footer) to help screen reader users navigate the page structure.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, and the tab order follows a logical sequence.
Visual Design
- Color Contrast: We maintain sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background colors to ensure readability.
- Focus Indicators: All interactive elements have visible focus indicators to help keyboard users track their position on the page.
- Dark Mode: A dark theme option is available for users who prefer reduced brightness or have light sensitivity.
- Reduced Motion: Animations and transitions are minimized or disabled for users who have enabled the "prefers-reduced-motion" setting in their operating system.
Content
- Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alternative text for screen reader users.
- Headings: Pages use a logical heading structure to aid navigation and understanding.
- Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels to ensure screen readers can announce them correctly.
- Error Messages: Form validation errors are clearly announced and associated with their respective inputs.
Data Visualization
- Chart Alternatives: Price charts include accessible data table alternatives for users who cannot interpret visual charts.
- Screen Reader Announcements: Dynamic content updates (such as price changes) are announced to screen reader users via ARIA live regions.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may have limitations:
- Third-Party Content: Some embedded content from third-party services (such as payment processors) may not fully conform to our accessibility standards.
- Older PDF Documents: Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these documents.
- Real-Time Data: Rapidly updating price data may be challenging for some assistive technologies to announce in real-time.
Testing
We regularly test our website for accessibility using:
- Automated testing tools (axe-core, Lighthouse)
- Manual keyboard navigation testing
- Screen reader testing
- Color contrast analyzers
